Most bride's are so busy planning all of the wedding details, they forget about themselves until the week before. So, consider this your reminder to put yourself first. Because, let's face it, this day is all about you!
To assist you, we have weaved our recommended cosmetic treatments into your month-by-month wedding checklist so that when you get to the end you are relaxed and ready.

12 MONTHS TO GO
- Write a guest list (organise the Bridal Party)
- Set the date
- Book the venue and accommodation
- Skin / Injectables / Tattoo FREE Consultation: Now that you have the date, you can plan your treatments accordingly. Discuss your at-home skincare regime with your Aestheticians. Start wearing SPF daily, if not already.
11 MONTHS TO GO
- Book the photographer
- Book the entertainment
- Start planning the style / theme
- Injectables: If any corrective work needs to be done, now is the time to start that process.
- Tattoo: If any corrective work needs to be done, now is the time to start that process.
- Skin: Book any test-patch treatments, eg: FREE Laser Patch Test.
10 MONTHS TO GO
- Order stationary / invites
- Book a celebrant
- Start dress shopping
- Tattoo: Check-in following any corrective work.
- Injectables: PDO Threads treatments (if desired) to allow time for the threads to settle (threads take 6 months to dissolve).
- Skin: Commence any Laser Hair Removal treatment plans (minimum 6 treatments every 6 weeks).
9 MONTHS TO GO
- Order the dress
- Book wedding day transport
- Start shopping for the Bridal Party
- Tattoo: Book in for your tattoo appointment.
- Injectables: Review with the Nurse.
- Skin: Commence any BBL / IPL treatment plans as multiple treatments 6 weeks apart may be required.
8 MONTHS TO GO
- Order the Groom's suit and Bridal Party outfits
- Book florist and choose flowers
- Choose the cake, taste test!
- Tattoo: Follow your tattoo aftercare.
- Injectables: Trial Anti-Wrinkle or Filler treatments.
- Skin: Book a 'preparation facial' to strengthen your skin barrier for any upcoming treatments. This may include an Enzyme Lymphatic Therapy Facial or a prep Peel.
7 MONTHS TO GO
- Buy wedding rings/bands
- Book a hair and makeup artist
- Buy shoes and accessories
- Tattoo: Book a touch-up appointment.
- Injectables: Commence any monthly PRP treatment plans to target pigmentation, acne, scarring, hairloss (a minimum of 3 treatments is required to get firm results, one month apart)
- Skin: Commence any treatment plans that target pigmentation, such as Cosmelan, (as this requires up to 6 months of home treatment).
6 MONTHS TO GO
- Book honeymoon
- Discuss wedding day schedule
- Choose decorations
- Tattoo: Follow your tattoo aftercare.
- Injectables: Continue any monthly PRP treatment plans to target pigmentation, acne, scarring, hairloss.
- Skin: Commence any treatments that target acne, such as Acnelan (as this requires up to 6 months of home treatment).
5 MONTHS TO GO
- Select menu for reception
- Start writing vows
- Book a Hair and Makeup Artist
- Tattoo: Last chance for tattoo!
- Injectables: Continue any monthly PRP treatment plans to target pigmentation, acne, scarring, hairloss.
- Skin: Commence any Skin Needling treatment plans as more than 3 treatments (one month apart) may be required.
4 MONTHS TO GO
- Order bonbonieres
- Check in with your hairdresser as to cut and colour
- Create a playlist and select ceremony songs
- Tattoo: Last chance for tattoo touch-up!
- Injectables: Skin Boosters or Bioremodelling (if desired). This is your appointment deadline as two treatments are required, one month apart.
- Skin: Continue any treatment plans and book a Post-Treatment LED Facial.
3 MONTHS TO GO
- Finalise gift registry / wishing well
- Hair and Makeup trial, Spray Tan trial
- Discuss "run through" with the MC
- Tattoo: no new tattoos.
- Injectables: Skin Boosters or Bioreomodelling follow up.
- Skin: Continue any treatment plans and book a Post-Treatment LED Facial.
- Brow / Lash: Test out a Brow Lamination + Lash Lift.
- Vitamins / Collagen: Results take 3 months, so this is your deadline to start taking supplements if this is something that you choose to do.
2 MONTHS TO GO
- Dress /suit fittings
- Send invites (with 1 month RSVP)
- Confirm all small details: veil, undergarments, cake toppers, marriage licence and pre-martial counselling, photo booths, guest transportation and accommodation.
- Tattoo: no new tattoos.
- Injectables: Final Anti-Wrinkle or Filler treatment.
- Skin: Microdermabrasion or Hydrafacial treatment to exfoliate following treatment plans.
1 MONTH TO GO
- Create a seating chart
- Hair cut and colour
- Pack a bag of emergency items: pain relief, small first aid kit with band-aids, small scissors, small sewing kit, double-sided body tape, change of shoes, sunglasses, umbrella / raincoat / coat, false eyelash glue, makeup touch-ups, hair pins, hair spray, phone charger, cash.
- Tattoo: no new tattoos.
- Injectables: Review with the Nurse. No new injectables treatments.
- Skin: Relaxation LED Facial with massage to manage skin and stress.
- Teeth Whitening: a 1 hour treatment.
1 WEEK TO GO
- Clean rings
- Final dress / suit fittings
- Body care: Manicure / Pedicure, Spray Tan (after Dermaplaning!)
- Tattoo: no new tattoos.
- Injectables: no injectables treatments.
- Skin: Dermaplaning (minimum 48 hours between Dermaplaning and Spray Tan).
- Brow / Lash: Brow Lamination and Lash Lift.
THE DAY/NIGHT BEFORE
- Full body moisturiser (no new skincare products)
- Wash hair and allow to dry with no product (mild heat only)
- Apply a sheet mask (one that you have tried before!) to your face for hydration
- Use a lip serum to keep your lips soft
