FAQS

Who is eligible for laser skin rejuventation?

You are eligible for laser treatments if you are over 18, not pregnant or breastfeeding, and are in good health. You will also need to avoid prolonged sun exposure in the 2 weeks surrounding your appointment. People with a history of seizures and those on photo-sensitising medications should also avoid laser treatments.

Can I have any other cosmetic treatments on the day of my appointment?

You can have appointments for areas other than the ones being treated for laser on the same day.

Is IPL/BBLpainful?

Many people liken IPL/BBL to a flicking sensation, like a rubber band. However, when used in-motion, it is described as simply a 'warm' feeling with little to no discomfort. Crystal Tech cooling is used via a sapphire tip preventing superficial burns and to reduce irritation. These sensations cease once the treatment stops.

Is there any downtime?

You are able to resume your normal activities immediately after the treatment. Skin may feel warm immediately after the procedure but this quickly subsides. We recommend avoiding prolonged sun exposure whilst having regular laser treatments, as your skin is more susceptible to burns and laser is more effective when there is contrast between the general skin tone and the area being treated.

How long will I notice the benefits?

Most people notice an improvement immediately after the first treatment. However, it may take multiple treatments to get more effective and longer-lasting results. Treatment plans are individualised depending on the treatment and the interference of external factors such as hormonal changes and sun exposure.
