Skin Needling

Also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), this process involves using micro-needles to create controlled wounds in the skins surface in order to stimulate collagen production and cell turnover. Many serums can be used in conjunction with a Skin Needling treatment in order to help them penetrate deeper and achieve optimal results; our standard treatment involves using a Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin B5, but you do have the option for substituting with an all-natural Australian Fingerlime citrus extract, or you can add on a mesotherapy solution to target pigmentation, hairloss, elasticty etc:

FAQs

Who is eligible for Skin Needling?

This treatment is suitable for all skin types, but some preparation treatments may be required first. Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Can I have any other cosmetic treatments on the day of my appointment?

Treatments that don't target the same area may be suitable, but you will need to check with your Skin Therapist.

Is it painful?

Skin Needling is tolerated really well, but if you're worried about it being uncomfortable you can apply a topical numbing ointment before your appointment. Please speak with your pharmacist.

Is there any downtime?

You will need to avoid swimming, sweating and products for 24-48 hours following treatment. Your skin may also appear flushed during this period.

How long will I notice the benefits?

In the first week, your skin may feel a bit dry as it strengthens and tightens. A gentle exfoliation finished with a hydrating serum will help to combat this feeling. You can maintain results by having treatments every 1-2 months or alternating with other treatments.
