1 DAY TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE
1) HOLISTIC FACIALS - 1 DAY BEGINNERS COURSE
If you are looking for a career as a skincare sales representative, or if you are wanting to open a home salon, then this is the perfect place to start. This 1 day intensive course will allow you to start working while you build on your skills as a skin therapist.
The theory component will introduce you to skin anatomy, skin types, skin conditions and contraindications so that you can select products to best suit your clients needs. From there, our qualified trainers will show you how to provide a hands-on skin assessment, as well as how to deliver a holistic relaxation facial that delivers results at the same time.
2) DERMAPLANING - 1 DAY BEGINNERS COURSE
Dermaplaning is the ultimate pre-event facial. The Dermaplaning process involves the use of a small blade to slough away dead skin cells and 'peach fuzz' facial hairs leaving a baby-smooth complexion. It is considered an exfoliation technique without requiring the use of any chemicals... and with zero downtime. This treatment is suitable for everyone including women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, and so it is a skill that will not go unused.
While this course is the perfect add-on to up-skill any skin therapist, it is also a technique that would benefit makeup artists who want to achieve cleaner results and you don't need any prior knowledge in order to learn. Dermaplaning can be performed in salon, from home or via a mobile service.
3) SKIN NEEDLING - 1 DAY BEGINNERS COURSE (ADD ON: INFECTION CONTROL CERTIFICATE)
Skin Needling (also known as Dermal Needling, Micro Needling or Collagen Induction Therapy) has become standard practice in most skin clinics and is a valuable skill for any aspiring Dermal Therapist. Using tiny superficial needles to inflict micro-traumas on the skins surface, we can induce a fast healing response within the skin. The result is the rapid production of new skin cells, collagen and elastin which creates a clearer, firmer and smoother appearance.
This 1-day course is suitable for beginners and for those who have completed previous study. However, in order to provide Skin Needling services you will need to hold the relevant Infection Control Certificate for Skin Penetration. We collaborate with Registered Training Organisations to offer our students this additional qualification - please ask our staff for details.
4) BROW SCULPT & DYE / HENNA BROWS - 1 DAY BEGINNERS COURSE
Offer a service that people keep coming back for! Brow shaping and tinting is a monthly must-have for many women and it is a service that you can provide from a salon, from home or via a mobile service.
Learn all about brow hair types, skin types, facial anatomy, brow design and tint shades and apply your knowledge to any brand to successfully launch your new career straight away.
5) BROW LAMINATION & DYE - 1 DAY BEGINNERS COURSE
Also known as a Brow Perm, Lamination is a technique that helps to fluff up and direct the brow hair, so that you can create a fuller and neater brow that compliments your clients bone structure . Included in the Brow Lamination class is a shaping component which teaches you the basics of brow sculpting so that you can become a brow artist the moment you step out the door.
6) LASH LIFT & DYE - 1 DAY BEGINNERS COURSE
An alternative to Lash Extensions, Lash Perming (Lash Lifting) is becoming increasingly popular and the results last longer - up to 8-12 weeks! Lash Lifting provides a semi-permanent curl to the lashes, creating a lifted appearance that opens the eye. The process also helps to correct over curled lashes which could be caused by decades long use of lash curlers. By becoming a Lash Lifting Artist, you can you can offer a service that is in-demand from the comfort of your own home or via a mobile service.
7) TEETH WHITENING - 1 DAY BEGINNERS COURSE
Teeth Whitening is the process of using peroxide gel to remove superficial staining of the teeth, and it can be achieved in as little as 1 hour.
This 1-Day course teaches you all you need to know about tooth structure and contraindications, as well as how to provide a show-stopping service that you can offer from a clinic or via a mobile service.
NO EXPERIENCE? NO WORRIES
THE ART OF BROW TATTOO - 5 DAY BEGINNERS COURSE (ADD ON: INFECTION CONTROL CERTIFICATE)
Did you know that you could become a fully fledged brow tattoo artist in as little as one week? This comprehensive course is suitable for everyone, regardless of whether you have previously trained elsewhere or whether you have no idea whatsoever! We stretch out the 5 training days over a 10 day period so that you don't feel rushed, and you have plenty of time to rest and reflect in-between.
The course is taught in two components:
The first two days (held within week 1) are theory days where we discuss skin anatomy, microblades, tattoo needles, infection control, pigment composition, brow design, mapping and latex practice.
The second component (held within week 2) is all practical, with live models invited in for you to put your skills to the test under the watchful eye of our academy trainers.
Please note: whilst this course is suitable for beginners, students who do not already hold the relevant Infection Control Certificate for personal services will need to obtain one in order to be able to operate as a cosmetic tattooist. We collaborate with Registered Training Organisations to offer our students this additional qualification - please ask our staff for details.
THE ART OF LIP BLUSH TATTOO / LASH ENHANCEMENT TATTOO - 1/2 DAY COURSE
(ADD ON: INFECTION CONTROL CERTIFICATE)
At The Cosmetic Hub Academy, we teach permanent makeup techniques that stand the test of time - there are no fads here!
For students with prior knowledge, you can add Lip Blush Tattoo or Lash Enhancement Tattoo to your repertoire and start building a whole new clientele in just 1 day! For those with no prior knowledge or industry experience, you will be required to complete 2 days of training to become qualified in this field (1 day for theory, and 1 day for practice).
Please note: if you are new to the industry and don't already hold the relevant infection control certificate, you will need to complete this separately. We collaborate with Registered Training Organisations to qualify our students in this area if required, please ask our staff for details.
